» Handling and protection of members' banking data

Three parties are involved in an online banking process. The first party is the Payment Starter area, on the EUCARPIA homepage. This site does not handle bankcard data, only allowing you to indicate how much money (membership fee) should be transferred from your bank card to the EUCARPIA bank account.
The second party is a technical connection, between this website and the Hungarian banking partner (K&H Bank). This connection works as a `server in the middle`, indicating transactions, saving membership data (invoice number, membership fee, transaction number and invoice number) in a separate, well-protected database. This server does not and cannot handle bank card data. It is only liable for starting and closing transactions.
Started transactions are accepted by the banking site of the Hungarian banking partner, the third party. This is the only site that handles banking data. This will ask for your bank card number, a CCV and the date of expiry.
If you have any questions about the handling of banking data, please contact bank@kh.hu.
